A hulking, chocolate-coated dessert that's been all over social feeds has now made its way to Dubai. The XXL Bueno-style cake that first went viral in Kuwait is being served locally by Casa Pons UAE, and it's quickly become the city's latest must-try treat.

It's a familiar pattern for Dubai's dessert scene — from the Dubai Chocolate craze to tissue cakes and pull-me-up desserts, any sufficiently photogenic sweet tends to get adopted citywide, and this one fits right in. Reels are already circulating of people cracking through its thick shell to reveal the filling underneath, including one from Dubai-based influencer Cuptales With Safia, who joked that a single slice was nearly as big as her face.

Locally nicknamed the "Kinda Buena Cake," it's a hefty two-kilogram dessert built for sharing: layers of crunchy, creamy Bueno-style mousse sit alongside vanilla sponge and toasted hazelnuts, all wrapped in a thick milk chocolate shell and finished with a dark chocolate ganache on top — designed to mimic the look and texture of the original candy bar, just scaled way up.

Priced at Dh299 and marketed as serving 10 to 12 people, it's rich and heavy enough that the true serving count could stretch even further. For now, orders run mainly through the brand's social media pages and website.

A good read is worth sharing.
